May 28, 2016 turned out to be the perfect day for Leah and John. The skies were blue, the temperature was just perfect, flowers were in bloom around every corner, and the venue, Langtree Plantation, could not have been more spectacular! It was bliss. My favorite part about this wedding (and I did cry) was when Leah opened the gift that John had made for her. Along with a pearl necklace, he gave her a photo album that he created just for her! In it told the story of their lives as kids and their journey to one another. In seven years of doing weddings this might have been the sweetest gift I have seen. Leah’s face in these pictures say it all. Of course Leah herself had a few tricks up her sleeve. I just love the photo that I was able to snap of her watching her groom read through the notes she had written to him everyday leading up to this day. Sweet. Moment. Lastly, I can’t go without mentioning the surprise foot washing ceremony. It was such a moving end to their ceremony. I can’t think of a better way to portray a humble love towards one’s spouse. Enjoy this sneak peek into a gorgeous southern wedding on the Plantation at Langtree.
