Last week we had a wonderful 70 degree day in February, and we took advantage of it! We could not have asked for a better day for family pictures. This family was a blast to photograph. Their little guy seemed to even enjoy the session! I believe he especially enjoyed the end of the session when he attacked his birthday cake! It was a great afternoon celebrating their family, and their little guy turning ONE! Enjoy this sneak peak into their family photo session.

A few weeks back I met this lovely family out at Romare Bearden Park for a fun family portrait session. The last time I had seen this family of 3 was at little girl’s newborn session. It was fun getting to see how much she has changed since I last saw her. I loved getting to capture not only her beauty, but also her little personality this go around. Over the past 6 months I have had such a wonderful time photographing this sweet family. I always feel a certain special connection to those clients who do the “grow with me” plan. I feel it as such a special privilege to take that 1 year journey with families. I am already looking forward to working with this man again in a few months. They grow too fast! I love that my job is creating art that freezes time and those tiny toes. As a anniversary gift to their parents, the children decided to have a family photo shoot! I can not think of a better gift for a mom or dad than pictures of their kids and grandchildren! Most of their family lives out of town which makes pictures that much more special. I had a blast working with this group. Any session where there are 3 two year olds is sure to be exciting! Over the course of about an hour we were able to capture over 100 images!!!! This is just a small glimpse into what we captured that afternoon.
