This lovely June wedding was tucked in the NC mountains at the gorgeous Rumbling Bald Resort. The entire day was a dream. Kelsey and Cullen spent the first part of the morning with their friends laughing, drinking, playing pool, and enjoying the warm southern sun. Anticipation was high. As the day drew closer to sunset everyone was bustling around adding the final touches before the big walk down the aisle. The ceremony was perfect. The blue sky scenery against the crystal clear waters of Lake Lure made for a picturesque setting. Hundreds of their closest friends and family watched as Kelsey and Cullen exchanged vows and united themselves as one. The party at this point had only began. Friends and family headed to cocktail hour to indulge in drinks, dinner and some serious dancing on the dance floor! Kelsey and Cullen’s bridal party can seriously cut a move! Everyone genuinely enjoyed themselves and danced the night away. The entire day was everything Kelsey and Cullen had imagined and more.

Photographing Lacey & Jay’s wedding at the gorgeous Charles Mack was one of the highlights of my week! I have so enjoyed working with this couple. Their love for one another is both true and genuine. They are such down to earth, sweet people to be around. It was a privilege to be their wedding photographer. So many breath taking photos were captured! True genuine love is always photogenic! I hope you can enjoy viewing this sneak peek as much as I have enjoyed working on them.

May 28, 2016 turned out to be the perfect day for Leah and John. The skies were blue, the temperature was just perfect, flowers were in bloom around every corner, and the venue, Langtree Plantation, could not have been more spectacular! It was bliss. My favorite part about this wedding (and I did cry) was when Leah opened the gift that John had made for her. Along with a pearl necklace, he gave her a photo album that he created just for her! In it told the story of their lives as kids and their journey to one another. In seven years of doing weddings this might have been the sweetest gift I have seen. Leah’s face in these pictures say it all. Of course Leah herself had a few tricks up her sleeve. I just love the photo that I was able to snap of her watching her groom read through the notes she had written to him everyday leading up to this day. Sweet. Moment. Lastly, I can’t go without mentioning the surprise foot washing ceremony. It was such a moving end to their ceremony. I can’t think of a better way to portray a humble love towards one’s spouse. Enjoy this sneak peek into a gorgeous southern wedding on the Plantation at Langtree.

They are just the sweetest down to earth couple, and super photogenic I might add. Be on the lookout for their wedding to hit the blog in the fall. Until then enjoy this little preview from their engagement photo session.
